In collaboration with Optimodal Nederland B.V., Kombiverkehr connects the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Moerdijk with the whole of Europe through hinterland services. Depending on their destination, shipments arriving in the Duisburg Ruhrort-Hafen DUSS and Neuss-Hessentor gateway terminals in the Ruhrgebiet are transferred to onward national and international direct and shuttle trains of the de.NETdirekt+ and eu.NETdirekt+ networks.

That means Kombiverkehr and Optimodal can offer hinterland services covering long distances, such as to and from Italy, Austria, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.
